Senior Software Sales Representative

Inclusively is collaborating with a safety science organization to recruit a Senior Software Sales Representative focused on Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).

This position is fully remote.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the formulation of leadership's multi-year account strategies in Software by offering insights into the Retail and CPG sectors.
- Contribute to strategic development by providing feedback on customer requirements, challenges, trends, and more to the product/service manager.
- Maintain a continuous plan to prioritize the account portfolio and nurture relationships throughout the year, identifying software renewal opportunities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and guide clients on integrating software into their existing IT frameworks.
- Leverage technical expertise to cultivate relationships with buyers and key influencers, supporting leadership initiatives.
- Act as the primary client liaison throughout the sales process.
- Utilize knowledge of clients' current technology platforms and systems to effectively convey the value proposition.
- Sustain ongoing relationships post-sale to facilitate software renewals.
- Collaborate with leadership on proposals and closing deals.
- Work alongside account managers to identify discovery and opportunities for potential Retail and CPG clients.
- Partner with Solution Architects to gather customer requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact responsible for articulating the value proposition and managing client interactions, involving additional technical resources (e.g., engineers) as necessary to support sales opportunities for assigned specialty products/services.
- Provide insights during the account planning process regarding potential growth opportunities within the assigned solution area.
- Establish connections and build trusted advisor status with relevant account stakeholders.
- Strategize sales plans and maintain a continuous approach to prioritize the account portfolio and nurture relationships throughout the year.
- Ensure a seamless transition of customers to implementation teams or Software & Advisory customer success groups post-sale.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target annual compensation for this role ranges from $170,000 to $220,000, including a base salary of $85,000 to $110,000, with performance-based incentives.
Sales team members are eligible to participate in the Sales Incentive Plan, with an annual target incentive of 100% of the base salary, disbursed quarterly, contingent upon performance.Employees can access health benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, wellness programs including mental and financial health support, and retirement savings (401K) in line with standard rewards offered in each location or country for the relevant position level.
We also provide paid time off, including vacation (15 days), holidays (12 days including floating holidays), and sick leave (72 hours).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in software engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience within the Retail and CPG industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
