As a Patient Care Liaison, you will oversee the management of patient valuables and personal items, ensuring that all patient inquiries are addressed promptly.
Your responsibilities will include meticulous documentation of all patient belongings and valuables entrusted to us for safekeeping, returning items to patients or their authorized representatives, and maintaining an organized inventory for reference.
You will also ensure the timely return of all patient belongings upon discharge from our facility.Collaboration with our Nursing Leadership and staff is essential to ensure compliance with internal policies and to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome patients, families, and visitors with a friendly demeanor, actively listening to their requests and providing assistance.
- Efficiently manage phone inquiries and questions, triaging calls that require further assistance.
- Facilitate the mailing of patient valuables and belongings upon request, utilizing appropriate delivery services.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential.
Experience in complaint resolution, customer service, and healthcare is preferred.
Education Requirements:
A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
