Job Overview

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Senior Key Account Sales Manager to enhance our Lightning Source (LSI) Sales division. This role is pivotal in driving sales initiatives and fostering relationships with both existing and potential book publishing clients.

Role Responsibilities

In this position, the Senior Key Account Sales Manager will:

  • Engage in solution-oriented selling, establishing and nurturing relationships across various levels within the publishing organizations.
  • Set and project sales objectives while leveraging data insights to support strategic selling into major publishing houses.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to achieve sales and growth ambitions.
Qualifications

Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the book publishing or printing sector.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated success in a sales capacity.
  • Experience with major publishing firms.
  • Capability to forecast sales performance accurately.
Key Duties
  • Identify and cultivate a pipeline of potential ICG accounts, focusing on both new opportunities and expanding sales within current accounts.
  • Assess the solution needs of prospective publishing clients and recommend appropriate Ingram products and services, including both physical and digital options.
  • Partner with ICG Product, IT, and Finance teams to create tailored solutions that drive revenue and profitability.
  • Lead strategic conversations with publishers regarding their current and future needs in print on demand, global fulfillment, and distribution.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Formulate sales strategies for the largest LSI accounts, establishing revenue and expense targets and tracking performance against these goals.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $97,440 - $124,155, based on various factors including education, experience, and market alignment.
