This Senior Sales Manager position collaborates with the PRH Kids Indie Sales team to pinpoint avenues for enhancing business at independent accounts, oversee estimates for PYR, RHC, and PRHPS, and coordinate with the Sales Director on ABA initiatives, which encompass indie programs and various trade exhibitions.

This role necessitates a candidate who is highly proficient in Excel, Power BI, and other internal systems, alongside possessing a comprehensive understanding of our title catalog.

This position aims to elevate indie programs and optimize growth potential, both at the account level and for the overall PRH Kids Indie market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify avenues to enhance business at independent accounts utilizing PRH systems and monitoring trends in the indie marketplace. This will involve analyzing category and regional reports, engaging in brainstorming sessions, and applying key insights to devise strategies for generating additional orders from accounts.
  • Oversee the OTIS estimating process for PYR, RHC, and PRHPS, including frontlist, backlist, and displays.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director on ABA initiatives, which include indie programs and various trade exhibitions.
  • Develop targeted Edelweiss collections and coordinate with marketing on additional resources for representatives to utilize in pitching to accounts.
  • Participate in departmental meetings as a representative of indie field sales, including list launches, alignment, market strategy, and weekly marketplace discussions.
  • Supervise the assistant for the PRH Kids Sales Team.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of relevant sales or publishing experience; direct selling experience is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Excellent product knowledge and comprehension of publishing operations.
Outstanding presentation skills.
Highly organized, with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to generate and analyze reports, interpret data, and communicate key findings and opportunities.
Proactive, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
Must be a self-starter and self-motivated, while also being willing to collaborate in a team setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time via various modes of transportation.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. All positions are currently eligible for an annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
