About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Leader to join our team as a Vice President. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining market risk models to measure risk across all asset classes. Your expertise will be critical in driving business growth and ensuring the organization's financial stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance market risk models according to regulatory requirements, with a focus on FRTB IMA.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the current market risk model framework and perform model analysis as required.
  • Prepare detailed quantitative analysis for risk managers and senior management, synthesizing complex risk models and results for stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex risk models and results to stakeholders, including market risk managers, front office data providers, technology teams, and model validation teams.
  • Provide support to risk managers and businesses on market risk model-related topics, including interaction with regulators as needed.
Qualifications
  • Strong quantitative skills, with experience in building mathematical models and applying sophisticated analytical techniques to solve real-world problems.
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, Spark, Java, or C++, with familiarity with Windows and UNIX/Linux operating environments.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of finance, markets, and risk management principles.
  • Masters Degree or equivalent in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, financial engineering, or computer science, with 6+ years of quantitative experience.
Education
  • Masters Degree or equivalent in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, financial engineering, or computer science, with 6+ years of quantitative experience.
  • Fewer years of relevant experience will be considered for candidates with higher academic qualifications and/or certifications, such as a PhD, a second Masters degree, CPA, or CFA.
