Job Overview

The Client Service Associate (CSA) plays a pivotal role in managing Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols, ensuring compliance with established processes and regulations. The CSA is responsible for developing comprehensive KYC profiles for clients within Citi's systems, facilitating the initiation of client relationships and account openings.

The CSA collaborates with various internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients, while prioritizing exceptional service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and guide assigned leads and prospects through the Citi platform, articulating the value propositions of IPB US while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

- Provide informed recommendations to clients regarding suitable banking packages and services tailored to their specific needs.

- Conduct interviews with prospects to ascertain their source of wealth and banking requirements, collecting necessary documentation to support a thorough acquisition process.

- Oversee all aspects of the onboarding process, including AML, KYC, and related compliance measures, safeguarding both the bank and the client by adhering to relevant policies and regulations.

- Execute the Customer Identification Program (CIP) by verifying the identity of prospects using approved methods.

- Manage the DocuSign process and coordinate with Wealth Relationship Managers to guide clients through necessary procedures.

- Address any issues or discrepancies identified during the KYC process promptly.

- Review account applications and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.

- Facilitate the addition of signers, beneficiaries, and other client requirements during account setup.

- Perform necessary validations for new prospects, including OWS and OFAC checks.

- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline the client relationship and account opening process, escalating concerns as needed.

- Ensure the accuracy of client information to prevent application rejections.

- Enhance client satisfaction by managing expectations and providing effective solutions to their needs.

- Uphold strict adherence to regulatory and compliance guidelines, demonstrating ethical judgment in all business practices.

- Serve as a liaison between clients and Wealth Relationship Managers, ensuring consistent communication and support throughout the onboarding journey.


Qualifications:

- 0-2 years of relevant experience.

- Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and articulate processes and value propositions.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of the wealth management sector.

- Strong teamwork, leadership, and management skills to coordinate with support teams.

- Excellent analytical and research capabilities.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

- Knowledge of best practices in relationship management.

- Proficient problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.


Education:

- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
