As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the quality benchmarks of our organization align with the expectations of our clients. Core Responsibilities
  • Drive business expansion within existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Establish and sustain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Comprehend the unique needs, challenges, and goals of each client.
  • Oversee account management in accordance with client guidelines and company policies.
  • Address customer complaints and inquiries, facilitating resolutions through operational support.
  • Secure purchase orders for work outside the existing contract scope.
  • Engage in contract negotiations and provide relevant information.
  • Maintain accurate client records and project documentation within the Global CRM system.
  • Conduct daily meetings with clients to review work schedules and project statuses.
  • Develop supervisory staff to meet management needs and ensure adequate support.
  • Exhibit a constructive and approachable demeanor towards colleagues and clients.
  • Report compliance issues to the appropriate Operations Manager.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate closely with Superintendents for staff updates.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial and environmental sectors.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide clients with regular updates and maintain open communication.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Offer expert advice on industry-related matters to clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and quotations.
  • Negotiate favorable terms to secure profitable contracts.
  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
  • Work with the finance team to resolve any financial concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Director of Business Development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing and scheduling employees for maintenance and industrial services.
  • Experience in hazard identification and safety compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Prior experience in an industrial or plant environment is essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor in various environments.
  • Willingness to work in confined and elevated spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Preferred: 8 years of hands-on experience with tools and heavy equipment.
  • Ability to travel as necessary for client meetings and industry events.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
