Role Overview

As the Director of Growth Marketing, you will take charge of formulating, implementing, and refining our demand generation strategy to foster new customer acquisition and enhance existing customer opportunities. Your primary focus will be on the upper tier of Airbyte's go-to-market strategy, with a specific emphasis on generating sales-assist qualified leads, while working in tandem with our Developer Relations and community teams to promote bottom-up adoption.

This position presents a unique chance to shape and expand our marketing division. You will be an integral part of the executive leadership team and will report directly to the co-founder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive demand generation strategies aimed at driving qualified leads and expanding the sales pipeline.
  • Work collaboratively with sales, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment of demand generation initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Mentor and develop your marketing team.
  • Establish and enhance marketing systems to support demand generation and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of demand generation and marketing operations initiatives, continuously advancing the strategy.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in demand generation and marketing operations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in demand generation and growth marketing.
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B and infrastructure/devtools, with a preference for experience in open-source products.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, fostering productivity within your team.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proven history of establishing and nurturing strong client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of go-to-market systems, including CRM, marketing automation, and warm outbound tools.
  • Position based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a hybrid work model.
