Role Overview

As the Director of Growth Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in formulating, implementing, and refining our demand generation strategy aimed at driving new customer acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships. Your primary focus will be on enhancing Airbyte's go-to-market strategy, with a specific emphasis on generating sales-assist qualified leads, while working closely with our Developer Relations and community teams to foster bottom-up adoption.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and expand our marketing organization. You will be an integral part of the executive team, reporting directly to the co-founder.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute innovative demand generation strategies to cultivate qualified leads and enhance pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, product, and finance teams to ensure alignment of demand generation initiatives with overarching business objectives.
  • Mentor and develop your marketing team.
  • Establish and refine marketing systems to bolster demand generation and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of demand generation and marketing operations, driving continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in demand generation and marketing operations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in demand generation and growth marketing.
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B and infrastructure/devtools, with a preference for open-source product experience.
  • Exceptional project management skills, fostering productivity within your team.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A proven history of establishing and nurturing strong client relationships.
  • Comprehensive understanding of go-to-market systems, including CRM, marketing automation, and outbound tools.
  • Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence twice a week.
