Position: Director of Product Marketing & Business Development

Overview

BraveNewTalent is seeking a Director of Product Marketing and Business Development to spearhead our global marketing and sales strategies. This role encompasses both Business Development and product marketing responsibilities. In the future, a Sales Director will be appointed to collaborate with you. Your primary duties will include:

  1. Accelerating the sales process for the BraveNewTalent offerings.
  2. Designing and executing a comprehensive B2B and B2C strategy aimed at enhancing our key performance indicators related to user growth, engagement, and retention.
  3. Assessing our current key performance indicators and forecasting growth to meet BraveNewTalent's objectives.

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the CEO.

Team Leadership: You will oversee the UK Head of Marketing, India Platform Evangelist, and Community Manager.

Key Relationships: Collaborate closely with the CEO, CTO, Director of Strategy, Director of Experience, and Board members.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team with comprehensive responsibilities.
  • Enhance brand visibility and drive talent acquisition and retention.
  • Formulate and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee all facets of product marketing.
  • Manage distribution channels and establish affiliate and partnership policies.
  • Direct and coordinate a globally distributed team.
  • Lead sales initiatives until a Sales Director is appointed.
  • Engage in Business Development to secure new clients and ensure client success.
  • Approve all marketing and sales expenditures.

Essential Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Product Marketing, and Communications.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Proven track record of launching products and marketing online platforms in diverse global markets.
  • Experience managing remote marketing and sales teams at a director level in a fast-growing, disruptive technology environment.
  • Successful background in personal sales and business development.
  • Comfortable with a high-energy startup culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SEO, SEM, and SMO principles, as well as brand promotion through events and social media.
  • Background in the social networking industry.
  • Familiarity with job boards and recruitment channels, particularly in social recruitment.
  • Extensive network within the technology startup community.
