Position: Director of Product Marketing & Business Development

Overview

BraveNewTalent is seeking a Director of Product Marketing and Business Development to spearhead our global marketing, sales, and communication strategies. This role encompasses both Business Development and core product marketing responsibilities. As the company grows, a Sales Director will be appointed to collaborate with you. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Accelerating sales cycles for the BraveNewTalent offering.
  2. Developing and executing a comprehensive B2B and B2C strategy aimed at enhancing our key performance indicators related to user growth, engagement, and retention.
  3. Assessing current nominal KPIs and forecasting KPI growth to align with BraveNewTalent's objectives.

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the CEO.

Direct Reports: Includes the UK Head of Marketing, India Platform Evangelist, and Community Manager.

Key Relationships: Collaborates with the CEO, CTO, Director of Strategy, Director of Experience, and Board members.

  • Director-level position with a global scope.

  • Formulating and executing marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Overseeing all facets of product marketing.
  • Managing distribution channels and establishing affiliate and partnership policies.
  • Leading a globally distributed team.
  • Providing leadership in sales and target achievement until a Sales Director is appointed.
  • Driving business development to secure new clients and ensure client success.
  • Overseeing marketing and sales expenditure approvals.

Essential Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Product Marketing, and Communications.
  • Proven track record in B2B and B2C marketing.
  • Experience in launching multiple products and online platforms in diverse global markets.
  • Experience managing remote marketing and sales teams at a director level in a rapidly growing, disruptive technology business.
  • Demonstrated success in personal sales and business development.
  • Comfortable in a high-energy startup culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SEO, SEM, and SMO principles, as well as brand promotion through events, social media, and influencer outreach.
  • Background in the social networking industry.
  • Familiarity with job boards and recruitment channels, particularly in social recruitment.
  • Extensive network within the technology startup community.
