About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Paychex. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding our client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and present our products and services to potential clients.
  • Client Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients, increase revenue, and expand our market share.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and they are satisfied with our services.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on our products and services, including our retirement plan and flexible spending account offerings.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless sales and service delivery.
  • Travel: May be required to travel for training, conferences, and other business-related purposes.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience in relevant sales or sales management, with successful completion of required training programs and/or certification by senior sales management.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to succeed in sales.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive starting base pay of $63,000 annually, plus commission. Our total rewards package includes a range of benefits and perks that support your overall well-being and career growth.
