Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Communicate and follow up with internal staff and management regarding client billing, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of any issues.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Assist with the timely and accurate billing of clients, including reviewing contracts, calculating renewal totals, and verifying third-party costs.
  • Client Inquiries: Respond to client inquiries regarding billing, providing clear and concise information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with our division's and company's accounting policies and practices, identifying and mitigating any potential risks.
  • Revenue Recognition: Schedule and manage revenue recognition, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of revenue.
  • Financial Reporting: Complete monthly reconciliation reports, providing detailed and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the AR divisions of vendors, verifying costs and requesting quotes as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including filing and handling customer refunds.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant business experience, preferably in accounting or a related field.
  • Education: Associate degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, highly motivated, and able to take initiative. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Excel and Word, with experience in NetSuite a plus.
  • Accounting Principles: General understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced accounting environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
