Custom Computer Specialists (CCS) is a leading provider of technology solutions, dedicated to helping clients achieve their business objectives. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join our dynamic team.

As an Account Executive at CCS, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth within the State/Local Government & Education (SLED) sector. You will leverage your sales expertise and industry knowledge to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and present customized technology solutions that meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new SLED clients in the Long Island region.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities within assigned accounts, fostering strong relationships with IT Directors and Superintendents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand client requirements and propose tailored technology solutions from our comprehensive portfolio.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of SLED purchasing processes, funding sources, and industry trends.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts, deliverables, and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities, accurately forecasting revenue and providing regular updates to management.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to remain competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of success in business-to-business sales, with a focus on technology solutions within the SLED sector.
  • Strong understanding of the SLED market landscape and key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
