BKF Engineers is in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. We are looking for a proactive individual who excels in adhering to deadlines and collaborates seamlessly with various teams, including engineers, marketers, and designers, to create compelling and distinctive deliverables. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills, possess a meticulous attention to detail, and thrive in high-pressure environments. As a vital member of our marketing and business development division, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing engaging written and visual content that effectively showcases BKF's services and aligns with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the timely and compliant response to multiple simultaneous client pursuits by producing persuasive and high-quality proposals and presentations.
  • Tasks will encompass copywriting, layout design, document formatting, proofreading, graphic coordination, editing/reviewing, and the production of marketing materials.
  • Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance on marketing materials as assigned.
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Information to teaming partners while organizing and integrating information into marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with department managers regarding scope and fees as necessary.
  • Maintain marketing files and data using various software tools, ensuring accurate project, contact, and prospect information.
  • Engage in active communication and collaboration with the internal Marketing and Business Development Team.
  • Design and execute various marketing and communication materials and campaign elements in support of the firm's strategic business objectives.
  • Coordinate and compile award and recognition submission packages.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Occasional travel to other offices or off-site locations may be necessary.
  • Assist with additional projects and assignments as required.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • A minimum of four years of experience with the RFP process and proposal production, preferably within an A/E/C firm.
  • Experience in one or more of BKF's market sectors is highly desirable.
  • Compensation and title will be commensurate with experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, particularly department managers, project managers, and individuals involved in business development efforts.
  • Strong graphic design sensibility and layout capabilities are preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Canva and HubSpot is advantageous.
Location & Salary:
  • BKF promotes a healthy work-life balance and employs a hybrid model of home and office work. This position may require travel to other offices for collaboration and growth opportunities.
  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $88,000 annually, varying based on education, experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and performance.
