Position Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Position Overview:
- Examine regulatory and legislative matters impacting Calpine and the broader energy sector
- Formulate advocacy plans and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Track governmental policies and prepare pertinent documents and presentations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years in policy analysis and research
- Familiarity with the energy sector and wholesale electricity markets
Key Responsibilities:
- Make informed decisions and provide recommendations in uncertain scenarios
- Identify problems and devise innovative solutions
- Operate independently on moderately complex tasks
- Lead projects and assignments effectively
- Facilitate clear communication and information dissemination
Compensation Range: $96,480 - $120,600
