Position Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Position Overview:

  • Examine regulatory and legislative matters impacting Calpine and the broader energy sector
  • Formulate advocacy plans and collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Track governmental policies and prepare pertinent documents and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in policy analysis and research
  • Familiarity with the energy sector and wholesale electricity markets

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make informed decisions and provide recommendations in uncertain scenarios
  • Identify problems and devise innovative solutions
  • Operate independently on moderately complex tasks
  • Lead projects and assignments effectively
  • Facilitate clear communication and information dissemination

Compensation Range: $96,480 - $120,600
