Position Summary:
The Service Operations Manager will play a critical role in overseeing after-market operations, ensuring that our commitments to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are met consistently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, reflecting The Ladders' dedication to safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Maintain compliance with quality policies and procedures, aligning with the core principles of quality assurance.
  • Direct and support branch after-market operations, guaranteeing timely and precise delivery of services.
  • Manage operational and capital expenditures within budgetary constraints while striving to minimize overall fleet costs and depreciation.
  • Review, enhance, and implement standardized processes for managing customer assets, ensuring alignment with SAP functionalities.
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers to ensure effective tracking, repair, and inventory management of customer assets.
  • Oversee the documentation and tracking of all equipment from receipt through repair to redistribution.
  • Conduct monthly analyses of usage and cost savings to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership for our clients.
  • Engage in regular partnership reviews and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assessments to evaluate success and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Establish and achieve monthly revenue and profit targets related to customer assets.
  • Perform annual or client-specified inventory counts to ensure accuracy, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain regular inspection, repair, maintenance, and calibration schedules for each asset, collaborating with Engineering as necessary to ensure proper certification of pressure-containing tools.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to HSE principles and adopt a proactive approach to safety and environmental management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in SAP and/or asset tracking software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets to derive business insights.
  • Proven experience in asset management, ideally within the oil and gas industry.
  • Solid understanding of commercial strategies and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving strategic goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications in supply chain management, asset management, or commercial strategy are a plus.
