As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing all engineering, project execution, and Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) activities. You will work closely with Senior Joint Operations Employees to provide ongoing direction and management, and operate as a member of the Senior Management team of AGOC.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage the Engineering, Capital & Operations Support employees of AGOC in accordance with AGOC's common managerial responsibilities and management delegations.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to AGOC's Executive Management in strategizing future investment and in terms of facilities development and management.
- Business Development: Work with External Consultants in developing business cases for new AGOC Sole Account Projects.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with AGOC Planning & Controlling Division, to ensure the effective and timely communication of the status of various activities and provide inputs for long-term plans.
- Project Execution: Manage all stages and requirements of AGOC Sole Account Projects and jointly with KJO for Joint Account Projects.
- Project Planning: Manage all aspects of the project planning stage of engineering projects, including monitoring planning and costing activities, managing all technical aspects of the tender process, directing staff, reviewing documents before they go out, and reviewing incoming bids.
- Design Management: Manage the design stages of engineering projects, including controlling the consultant briefing process, approving initial designs, materials, and equipment specifications, and final designs.
- Project Execution: Manage in an overall sense, all project execution activities for AGOC Sole Account Projects and KJO Projects up to project inspection, testing, and handover.
- Strategic Planning: Participate as a member of AGOC's Management Team in the development of the Company's Strategies, Objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Budget Management: Prepare, submit, and manage the implementation of the Annual Operating and Capital Budgets, exercising authorities as delegated.
- QHSE Management: Manage all QHSE activities, approving company standards and regulations, participating in joint committees, and investigating major incidents/accidents.
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in petroleum engineering, project management, or field operations. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical).
- A Master's Degree is preferable.
- 15 years of experience within the oil and gas industry, with at least 6-8 years in a Management role.
- Additional training in Project Management, Leadership Skills, and Strategic Planning.
