We are currently seeking a highly skilled Vice President of MEP Operations to join our team. This position is essential for driving the growth and development of our MEP services in our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project execution ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and timelines while resolving any conflicts that arise.
  • Maintain adherence to technical and performance standards across all projects.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and the firm, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Guide and mentor design and technical support staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Monitor staffing levels and resource utilization to align with project demands and budgetary guidelines.
  • Coordinate with project teams across various disciplines and manage relationships with sub-consultants and subcontractors.
  • Prepare project cost reports and adjust programming to ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Develop proposals and presentations showcasing the firm's diverse capabilities.
  • Engage in business development initiatives to cultivate new client relationships.
  • Attend client meetings to address inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to lead and grow the MEP division.
  • Utilize engineering and design software, including Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD, to complete assigned tasks.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in MEP engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer license required; ability to obtain a New Jersey PE.
  • Proven experience in the design and management of MEP engineering projects, with a comprehensive understanding of the design process from proposal to construction.
  • Experience with public facilities projects is preferred.
  • Healthcare project experience is a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of New Jersey Building Codes.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills at the project level.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
