Job Title: Visual Content Creator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Content Creator to join our team at Home City Inc. as an Image Production Specialist. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality visual content using Adobe Photoshop and other design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Content Creation: Use Adobe Photoshop to create and edit product images, logos, banners, and other visual content for our products.
  • Image Editing: Ensure that all visual content meets our brand's standards and guidelines.
  • Media Management: Accurately label and save all created imagery to our pre-approved media storage locations.
  • Project Management: Maintain documents and reports on projects, directives, and assignments through requests from all staff.
  • Software Knowledge: Maintain a complete and up-to-date knowledge of the Media Manager and a general knowledge of the Editing Software.

Requirements:

  • Adobe Photoshop Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop with basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Graphic Design Principles: Excellent understanding of graphic design principles, layout, color theory, and typography.
  • Education: Education above the high school level with course concentration in a related field, such as graphic design, digital media/imaging, or visual/design communications.
  • Communication Skills: Must be willing to take direction and criticism from superiors in order to provide the best imagery possible.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Constantly demonstrate the ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment, and make sound recommendations through written documentation and reports.
  • Research Skills: Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills in order to work effectively with all levels of Home City Inc.
  • Time Management: Daily planning, time management, and organizational skills to establish priorities.
  • Teamwork: Work independently and as a team member on projects or issues working closely with internal and external parties and groups.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail.
  • Communication Abilities: Excellent oral and written communications abilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Solid analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivation: Self-motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Product Accessories: Creates all Product Accessories such as Inserts, Shipping Markers, Barcodes, Care Labels, Law Tags, as instructed by the President and Vice-President.
  • Image Distribution: Submit all new images to Senior Account Representative for distribution.
