Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Vice President of Cloud and Infrastructure to lead our global on-premises infrastructure and public cloud platforms. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the operations and management of our cloud infrastructure services, networking, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operations and management of our on-prem Kubernetes infrastructure and public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), ensuring reliable, scalable, and highly secure 24/7 always-on operations.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a diverse global team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe environment.
  • Lead and drive transformational initiatives to simplify and modernize our cloud infrastructure technologies and optimize our operations.
  • Implement and promote Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and infrastructure-as-code practices within the team to improve reliability and performance.
  • Manage, collaborate, and influence key stakeholders to align common goals and drive changes.
  • Foster a culture of intellectual honesty, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote continuous learning and innovation within the team, particularly around automation technologies and SRE best practices.
  • Use critical thinking and deep analytical skills to identify and solve complex problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/engineering or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in managing on-prem cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • AWS Certifications or Equivalent: Required (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CISSP).
  • Deep knowledge and proven working experience in managing cloud infrastructure services, networking, and security.
  • Proven experience in leveraging automation tools and infrastructure-as-code techniques as a key strategy for managing infrastructure.
  • Proven experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills with experience leading a geographically distributed team that operates 24/7.
  • Experience in challenging the status quo and driving transformational changes and optimization in a technical environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and team-building skills. Able to conduct constructive debate and be comfortable in uncomfortable situations.
  • Excellent critical thinking and deep analytical skills. The ability to guide and mentor the team to solve complex technical challenges and problems.
Preferred
  • Security Certifications or Equivalent.
