Position Overview:
We are looking for two new Regional Managers of Operations to join our team in the Phoenix area. This role is crucial in ensuring that the management of properties within the designated Arizona region adheres to the standards of Operational Excellence and the guidelines set forth by Mercy Housing Management Group (MHMG).

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all management-related activities with on-site personnel and various departments within Mercy Housing to ensure compliance with essential operational functions.
- Assist the Area Director with projects and functions that extend beyond the assigned properties.
- Ensure adherence to rent collection procedures and achieve established benchmarks.
- Develop and manage property budgets proactively.
- Regularly review and negotiate contracts while ensuring regulatory compliance and completing necessary reporting.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Familiarity with local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant regulations.
- Experience in generating property budgets and managing affordable housing developments, including HUD, Low Income Tax Credits, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties.
- Exposure to community organizing and related services is beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in multi-housing or property management.
- Certification as a Property Manager or similar credential is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on relationship management.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Proficient in interpreting financial data from property management software.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability while maintaining a solution-oriented approach.
