Job Opportunity: Assistant Community Manager - Tempe, AZ

Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

We are in search of a skilled property management professional to oversee operations at our charming 144-unit community, Salado Springs. This role presents an excellent opportunity for career advancement in a prime location.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Assistant Community Manager, you will take on supervisory duties in the absence of the Community Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in the training and development of team members and managing employee schedules.
2. Reviewing daily rent recommendations and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue.
3. Collecting both current and overdue rent in line with company policies.
4. Initiating timely legal actions when necessary, including court appearances.
5. Managing invoices, utilizing purchase orders, and ensuring accurate General Ledger (GL) coding.
6. Reviewing move-in and move-out documentation for accuracy and completeness.
7. Compiling and verifying weekly reports for timely submission.
8. Collaborating with the property manager to analyze monthly financial reports and assist in variance reporting.
9. Supporting the Community Manager in resolving conflicts with residents and prospective tenants.
10. Adhering to company policies, employee handbooks, and property management guidelines.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant property management experience and the ability to pass a fair housing exam.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic math and financial calculations.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with property management software and tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- A valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as required.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $21.00. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a 401(K) match, rental incentives, bonuses, and discounts based on location. Full-time employees working 30-40 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits, along with vacation and sick time accrual in accordance with applicable laws.
