Your Career

The Strategic Account Executive collaborates with our clients to secure their entire digital landscape. Driven by the desire to address critical challenges in our clients' secure environments, you are prepared to connect them with solutions tailored for every stage of threat prevention. This position is a key contributor to the company's revenue and growth. As a seasoned and dynamic sales professional, you will lead and drive sales initiatives.

Your Contribution

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will navigate and orchestrate large, complex sales cycles, collaborating with internal partners and teams to best serve the client. Your consultative sales expertise will identify business challenges and devise solutions for prospects and clients. Understand the competitive landscape and client needs to effectively position the portfolio of Palo Alto Networks solutions. Establish clear objectives and maintain accurate forecasting through the development of a comprehensive territory plan. Utilize client success stories to craft a compelling value proposition with insights specific to each account. Stay informed on industry developments and trends, and their implications for Palo Alto Networks products and services. Travel as required within your territory and to company-wide gatherings.

Qualifications

Your Background

Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally within the networking and/or security sectors - SASE technology is preferred. Proven experience in selling complex solutions, value-based selling, and/or consultative sales methodologies. Technical proficiency in understanding how technology products and solutions address business challenges. Ability to identify issues, analyze data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions. Build relationships with channel partners to implement a channel-centric go-to-market strategy for our clients. Demonstrated expertise in the complete sales cycle and the ability to adhere to a structured sales process. Capable of taking a holistic approach to problem-solving by understanding the broader context and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and self-direct.
