Position Overview

The Mid-Market Sales Executive is responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with designated mid-market commercial clients. The primary goal of this role is to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through the effective execution of Demand Side Management (DSM) sales strategies. This includes collaborative planning and the delivery of DSM programs, as well as addressing customer needs through on-site visits and various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust DSM account management strategy, including territory management and communication plans.
  • Prioritize customers based on their specific needs and identify key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Collaborate with fellow sales representatives to plan accounts and deliver DSM programs effectively.
  • Work closely with inside sales representatives to manage customer service issues, including billing and reliability inquiries.
  • Utilize approved marketing materials to present DSM proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of our offerings.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while fostering strong sales relationships.
  • Promote and sell DSM products and services within the assigned territory, focusing on mid-sized commercial accounts.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with clients, proactively reaching out to potential leads.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our product line and customer needs through ongoing training and research.

Qualifications

  • A college degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service with a proven track record is preferred.
  • Experience with commercial clients is advantageous.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with familiarity with DSM marketing programs and CRM systems, are desired.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer focus, teamwork, and initiative is essential.
