Key Responsibilities

As a Community Sales Assistant, you will support the Executive Director and/or Manager of Sales and Marketing in various aspects of our sales and marketing initiatives. Your role will include:

  • Answering phone calls, providing information, and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Welcoming visitors, assessing their needs, and connecting them with the right personnel.
  • Conducting community tours for prospective residents and their families, showcasing our values and offerings.
  • Preparing and distributing various documents, including correspondence and reports.
  • Compiling data for regular reporting needs.
  • Maintaining organized records and filing systems.
  • Managing new leads in our marketing database.
  • Occasionally representing the community at marketing events.
  • Assisting with event planning and coordination.
  • Engaging in community outreach initiatives.
  • Completing all assigned paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with one to three years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Abilities

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to make routine decisions based on established guidelines, with minimal independent judgment required. Basic technical skills and proficiency in personal computer usage are essential.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Interaction with coworkers, residents, and vendors is necessary.
  • Occasional weekend or evening work may be required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
