What is the role about?

As the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing our brand initiatives to effectively communicate the Intercom narrative on a global scale. From overarching campaign strategies to detailed launch plans and performance analysis, you will spearhead the development of cohesive campaigns across diverse marketing channels. You will collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and our internal Brand Studio, along with external partners, to craft campaign strategies, messaging, and executions.

The ideal candidate is a motivated and innovative brand marketer with a proven history of creating impactful brand marketing initiatives that resonate with target demographics and achieve business objectives. Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Marketing, the Senior Brand Marketing Manager must possess strategic thinking, collaborative spirit, organizational skills, and analytical capabilities, with experience in creative strategy, media planning, and integrated campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of brand marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility and preference, from identifying insights to creating briefs, planning, developing creative content, and launching campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal and external media partners to formulate media strategies that span the entire marketing funnel.
  • Work closely with internal creative teams and agencies to guide creative development, ensuring the brand is represented effectively across various content types and channels to meet brand objectives.
  • Engage with product marketing, content marketing, field marketing, and demand generation teams to drive significant campaigns and ensure unified brand messaging and alignment of efforts.
  • Analyze data and metrics to assess campaign performance, derive insights, and refine campaigns for enhanced effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain a brand marketing calendar to ensure alignment and coordination with various brand and demand generation teams.
Required Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, with a preference for candidates who have spent a significant portion of that time in a B2B SaaS context.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and customer journeys, particularly those involving self-service components.
  • Proven experience in executing large-scale integrated brand awareness campaigns.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional marketing teams in the execution of campaigns.
  • A successful track record in designing innovative and targeted brand campaigns that yield measurable outcomes.
  • Strong awareness of cultural marketing trends across creative, media, digital, and social platforms.
  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced growth environment and adept at navigating ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated capability in strategic planning, creating, and implementing marketing strategies and brand creative briefs.
  • Experience in developing metrics for campaign measurement.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams to achieve brand goals.

The salary range for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area is $152,625 - $177,375. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors such as education, skills, experience, and location. This salary range is subject to change and may be updated in the future. All regular employees may also qualify for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive, as well as stock options in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
