We are seeking a Global Senior Brand Strategist who possesses a proven track record in expanding global brands and can leverage 10x's strong mission to develop a comprehensive long-term brand strategy roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an annual brand audit/study in partnership with our internal marketing insights team and external collaborators to grasp industry and customer trends/sentiment, translating findings into actionable brand strategies.
  • Establish a brand pyramid framework to clearly define 10x's brand identity and market positioning.
  • Develop brand architecture and refine messaging to enhance awareness and preference, influence desired customer behaviors, and drive business growth.
  • Create a robust and cohesive brand identity through a precise articulation of the brand's unique value proposition.
  • Formulate brand guidelines and a comprehensive brand playbook to ensure a consistent visual and verbal identity, along with a messaging framework applicable across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Assist in co-marketing and distributor management concerning brand guidelines and playbooks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees to ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with product, segment, and regional marketing managers to deliver integrated communications and campaigns to customers, ensuring consistent brand representation.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by identifying differentiation opportunities and staying ahead of market trends and dynamics.
  • Define and implement brand campaigns to meet specific objectives, working closely with key stakeholders from Corporate Communications, Digital Channels, and Content teams.
  • Establish key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of brand strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communications, Art, Social Science).
  • 5+ years of experience in insight-driven brand strategy, including positioning, frameworks, key messaging, and brand analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in qualitative and quantitative research, encompassing design, methodology, and analysis.
  • Proven experience in developing brand campaigns and activations; adept at the Think-Plan-Do approach (from brief creation to planning, scheduling, and execution in collaboration with writers and designers).
  • Exceptional storytelling abilities, including proficiency in presentation deck creation and memo writing, with a talent for distilling complex narratives into clear, digestible information.
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, capable of working across various levels of the organization.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and differentiate brands in competitive landscapes.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets) to facilitate immediate contribution.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Experience or exposure to life science brands.
  • Understanding of customer needs within academic research, translational research, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors in the life sciences domain.

This position offers a competitive salary range, and the actual compensation will be determined based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, salary is just one component of our total compensation package, which also includes equity grants, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, and an annual bonus or sales incentive program.
