Position Overview

Cash App is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead Marketing Strategist for our Commerce division (Afterpay + Cash App Pay). This pivotal role will manage integrated marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing our brand presence and driving consumer engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience collaborating with commercial retailers and leading teams dedicated to crafting integrated marketing campaigns that also cater to third-party partners.

This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit exceptional communication and presentation skills, balancing creativity with analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Afterpay's integrated marketing strategies in the U.S. while collaborating with Afterpay International to ensure brand consistency on a global scale.
  • Design and implement campaigns that elevate consumer awareness and adoption of Cash App's commerce offerings (including pay now and pay later options).
  • Create and manage a content strategy and calendar that effectively communicates our value proposition to our target audience.
  • Work closely with various marketing channels (B2B and B2C), Creative, Data Science, and communications teams to execute launch plans seamlessly.
  • Develop integrated marketing initiatives that support third-party partners during critical retail periods and partnership phases.
  • Craft compelling product positioning focused on customer needs and oversee the launch and adoption of commerce products.
  • Collaborate with Customer Insights & Data Science to gather actionable insights that inform campaign strategies.
  • Engage with Product & Customer Insights to establish feedback mechanisms on marketing effectiveness and brand perception.
  • Partner with Creative teams and external agencies to develop campaign platforms, assets, and ongoing content.
  • Champion the enhancement of the brand's overall aesthetic across all customer touchpoints.
Qualifications

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in integrated marketing, product marketing, or brand marketing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in integrated marketing.
  • Experience in technology, financial services, or retail sectors is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear strategies.
  • Data-driven mindset with robust analytical capabilities.
  • A collaborative team player who is proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to analyze data to derive insights.
