What is the role about?

As the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our brand initiatives to fruition, effectively communicating the Intercom narrative on a global scale. From overarching campaign strategies to the detailed execution and performance analysis, you will spearhead the development of cohesive campaigns across various marketing channels. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and our in-house Brand Studio, along with external partners, to craft compelling campaign strategies, messaging, and execution plans.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and innovative brand marketer with a proven history of creating impactful brand marketing initiatives that resonate with target demographics and achieve business objectives. Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Marketing, the Senior Brand Marketing Manager must possess strategic thinking, strong collaboration skills, organizational prowess, and analytical capabilities, with experience spanning creative strategy, media planning, and integrated campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation of brand marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility and preference, from identifying insights to brief creation, planning, creative development, and launch.
  • Collaborate with internal and external media partners to devise comprehensive media strategies that encompass the entire marketing funnel.
  • Work closely with internal creative teams and agencies to ensure that the brand is effectively represented across various content types and channels, aligning with brand objectives.
  • Engage with product marketing, content marketing, field marketing, and demand generation teams to drive significant campaigns and ensure consistent brand messaging and initiative alignment.
  • Analyze data and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness, derive insights, and optimize campaigns for enhanced performance.
  • Develop and maintain a brand marketing calendar to ensure seamless coordination with various brand and demand generation teams.
Required Skills
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in brand marketing, with at least half of that time spent in a B2B SaaS context.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and customer journeys, particularly those featuring self-service components.
  • Proven expertise in executing large-scale integrated brand awareness campaigns.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary and cross-functional marketing teams for effective campaign execution.
  • A successful track record in developing innovative and targeted brand campaigns that yield measurable outcomes.
  • High awareness of cultural marketing trends across creative, media, digital, and social platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic growth environment and navigate ambiguity effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to strategically plan, create, and implement marketing strategies and brand creative briefs.
  • Experience in establishing campaign measurement metrics.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work with multiple internal teams to achieve brand goals.
