Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead Marketing Strategist for Integrated Solutions to join our team. This role will spearhead the integrated marketing initiatives for Cash App's Commerce division (Afterpay + Cash App Pay). The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience collaborating with commercial retailers and leading a team dedicated to crafting cohesive consumer marketing strategies that also engage third-party partners. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, coupled with exceptional communication and presentation skills, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Afterpay's integrated marketing initiatives in the U.S. while closely collaborating with Afterpay International to ensure brand consistency on a global scale.
  • Conceptualize, develop, and implement campaigns that enhance consumer awareness and adoption of Cash App's commerce offerings (pay now and pay later).
  • Create and execute a content strategy and calendar that effectively communicates our value proposition to resonate with our target audience.
  • Work in partnership with marketing channels (B2B and B2C), Creative, Data Science, and communications teams to flawlessly execute launch strategies.
  • Design integrated marketing campaigns that support third-party partners during peak retail periods and critical partnership phases.
  • Develop compelling, customer-focused product positioning and oversee the launch and adoption of commerce solutions.
  • Collaborate with Customer Insights & Data Science to gather insights that inform campaign strategies.
  • Engage with Product & Customer Insights to establish feedback mechanisms on marketing effectiveness, brand health, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Creative teams and external agencies to develop campaign platforms, assets, and ongoing content.
  • Act as a champion for enhancing the overall brand experience across all customer touchpoints.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in integrated marketing, product marketing, and/or brand marketing.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in integrated marketing.
  • Experience in technology, financial services, or retail sectors is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear action plans.
  • Data-driven mindset with robust analytical capabilities.
  • A collaborative team player who is accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • Proficient in analyzing data to extract actionable insights.

Block adopts a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary based on geographic location. The successful candidate's compensation will be determined by job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
