**Job Title:** Director of Business Development

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at Castle Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, directing, and administering our facility's marketing and public relations programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's marketing programs to maintain and increase our census and to provide the community with information relative to our facility, its programs, services, and practices.
  • Collaborate with Department Directors: Assist department directors in the development and use of marketing policies and procedures, and establish a rapport in and between departments so that each staff member can realize the importance of his/her role in our marketing and public relations program.
  • Customer Service Satisfaction: Assist in the development, implementation, and tracking of customer service satisfaction surveys.
  • Public Information: Interpret the facility's policies and procedures governing the release of information to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary.
  • Long-Range Planning: In conjunction/coordination with the Administrator, develop and implement long-range plans for the facility in the effort to establish and maintain our marketing and public relations program.
  • Liaison and Communication: Serve as a liaison to the Administrator, medical staff, and other professional and supervisory staff.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Maintain schedules for all marketing and public relations programs.
  • Tours and Community Outreach: Develop & schedule tours/personnel through the facility.
  • Community Relations: Maintain an adequate liaison with families, residents, and community and civic leaders.
  • Problem-Solving and Community Service: Participate in community service projects and develop appropriate problem-solving actions.
  • Departmental Meetings: Schedule and participate in departmental meetings concerning our marketing and public relations programs and activities.
  • Resident Rights: Interpret resident rights to the resident, family, staff personnel as necessary or appropriate.
  • Financial Management: Assure that adequate financial records and expense reports are submitted to the Administrator as required.
  • Quality Assurance: Assure that the residents' rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property, and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints, are well established and maintained at all times.
  • Special Functions: Coordinate special functions with all departments.
  • Publications and Promotions: Assist with promotions, publications, newsletters, etc., as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Communication Skills: Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
