Description:
The manufacturing engineering division at ICONMA is on the lookout for skilled manufacturing process engineers (levels 2, 3, or 4) to enhance our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

Our manufacturing process engineers will concentrate on ensuring production consistency, applying lean principles, evaluating and fulfilling readiness standards, and enhancing quality through thorough root cause investigations.

Candidates will collaborate with various departments including manufacturing, engineering, and production support, and should possess a proactive mindset along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Our business units provide opportunities to gain insights into all facets of the aerospace manufacturing sector, from supply chain readiness to the processing of raw materials, assembly, and customer delivery support.

Utilize industrial engineering methodologies, strategies, and techniques to meet program requirements of moderate complexity.

Design, develop, analyze, test, evaluate, and implement processes and technology applications by leveraging industrial engineering techniques to optimize production system design, operational efficiency, and after-market services.

Monitor performance metrics, support production, and systems to fulfill operational and functional requirements.

Translate engineering, systems, and mathematical concepts into practical applications throughout the product lifecycle.

Investigate emerging technologies and create industrial engineering tools and methodologies.

Ensure adherence to established industry safety standards, design guidelines, and ergonomic practices.

Assist in the assessment of new techniques and technological advancements for integration into production processes and service operations.

Develop moderately complex models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data, providing summary analyses and metrics for leadership consultation.

Support research, design, development, enhancement, and implementation of processes and tools aimed at improving schedule performance, reducing costs, and elevating quality for large-scale systems integration and asset utilization.

Lead metrics, data analysis, and improvement initiatives related to our team's productivity, efficiency, and first-time quality; including lean events, 5S improvement strategies, and/or special projects to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline
1 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or production setting
1 or more years of experience in defining, developing, implementing, or refining production processes.


Preferred Qualifications:
Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
1 or more years of experience in lean manufacturing with a solid understanding of lean principles.
Experience in developing and implementing standardized processes.
Proficient in structured problem-solving techniques.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2):

Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering role or a master's degree with relevant experience.

Experienced (Level 3):

Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering role or a master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.

Senior (Level 4):

Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering role or a master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.


Physical Requirements:
Must be able to crouch, walk, and climb stairs while performing duties throughout the day.
