Job Overview:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is on the lookout for experienced Electrical Systems Manufacturing Engineers at the Senior or Expert level to enhance our aircraft production initiatives based in Everett, Washington.

In this role, you will collaborate daily with professionals from production, quality assurance, design, and supply chain sectors to oversee the journey of aircraft from conception to delivery and beyond.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in evaluating product development, complex manufacturability studies, and production/tooling strategies.
  • Refine, validate, coordinate, and implement conceptual designs while managing the program architecture for manufacturing.
  • Develop manufacturing strategies and oversee optimization processes.
  • Conduct detailed manufacturability and variation analyses to ensure alignment of manufacturing capabilities with project requirements.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges effectively.
  • Act as a project manager to ensure integration and maintenance of contract specifications, design criteria, and schedule performance.
  • Champion advanced design solutions and support research into new product or business opportunities.
  • Utilize Lean Enterprise analysis methods within the company.
  • Document and disseminate best practices in manufacturability.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to peers through structured mentoring programs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Everett, WA.


Work Authorization:
Compliance with Export Control requirements is necessary; thus, a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. This includes US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science program. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the aerospace sector or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in leading and mentoring teams of engineers and technicians, with 10 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Typical Education/Experience:
Senior Level:
Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited engineering course of study, along with 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Expert Level:
Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited engineering course of study, along with 14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Relocation:
Relocation assistance is available based on candidate eligibility.
