This position involves applying industrial engineering methodologies to products, processes, and services to fulfill program requirements of moderate complexity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing processes and technological advancements to optimize production systems and operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and supporting production systems to align with operational and functional standards.
  • Translating complex engineering concepts into practical applications throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Researching new technologies and developing engineering tools and processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry safety standards and ergonomic guidelines.
  • Evaluating new techniques for integration into production and service operations.
  • Creating models and databases to analyze data, providing insights and metrics for leadership consultation.
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of processes to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve quality in large-scale systems integration.
  • Leading data analysis and improvement initiatives related to productivity, efficiency, and quality, including lean events and special projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or production environments. Candidates should have experience in defining and improving production processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education/Experience Levels:

  • Associate (Level 2): Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in an engineering field.
  • Experienced (Level 3): Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Senior (Level 4): Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 7+ years of experience.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks such as crouching, walking, and climbing stairs as part of daily responsibilities.
