Position Overview:

Role: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Everett, WA (On-site)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Compensation: $50-$60/hr. on W2

Key Competencies:

  • Proficient in converting engineering schematics into actionable work instructions and operational procedures for production.
  • Experience in establishing and architecting manufacturing workflows.
  • Familiarity with the integration of extensive assemblies (Product BOMs exceeding 2000 components).
  • Expertise in design, mechanical systems, and assembly processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering (or related fields) from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Solid grasp of engineering principles related to mechanical design and production.
  • Skilled in translating engineering drawings into operational guidelines.
  • Experience in establishing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
  • Background in design, mechanical, and assembly operations.
  • Hands-on experience in hardware production (including castings, forgings, additive manufacturing, welding, machining, cleaning, non-destructive testing, precision assembly, leak testing, and final acceptance testing of integrated hardware, as well as Manufacturing Execution Systems/Software).
  • Experience with the integration of large assemblies (Product BOMs with over 2000 parts).
  • Demonstrated success in completing manufacturing projects effectively.
  • Strong written, interpersonal, technical, and software skills (including CAD, scheduling, issue tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
