Position Overview:
Continental Carbonic is on the lookout for a Regional Sales Executive to enhance our team.

The Regional Sales Executive is tasked with overseeing all sales and expansion initiatives related to the dry ice sector within their designated area.

This role requires collaboration across various departments, including our branches and production teams, to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of dry ice to our clientele.

We seek a driven Sales Professional who can effectively communicate value and recognizes that achieving results is a proactive endeavor.

The position also encompasses customer service responsibilities, which involve nurturing existing client relationships and acquiring new customers while coordinating with other regions and business units.



Territory:
This role is home office based, covering multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve and surpass corporate targets for safety and profitable growth within the assigned region.
• Utilize software tools to identify, contact, and log outreach to potential business clients.
• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely reports.
• Manage travel expenses effectively and fulfill individual training requirements.
• Adhere to company policies regarding safety, administration, and quality standards.
• Draft quotes, proposals, and contracts for approval.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by developing a comprehensive understanding of their business needs and establishing a consultative approach.
• Negotiate new and renewal agreements with clients.
• Drive profitable business growth by collaborating with commercial teams, product management, and contract administration.
• Manage a portfolio by gathering feedback from various organizational groups.
• Facilitate communication and support between customers and Continental Carbonic.
• Provide initial product and application support to clients and prospects.
• Assist with accounts receivable as needed.
• Promote additional offerings from Continental Carbonic during the sales process.
• Collaborate with internal resources to achieve growth objectives.

• Ensure clear and consistent communication with internal departments regarding customer success, opportunity details, development processes, and other relevant information.

• Oversee contract lifecycles, including price reviews and quarterly business evaluations.
• Support customer initiatives, new business development, contract negotiations, and service requirements.
• Maintain opportunity data, contact information, and sales activities in CRM systems.
• Stay informed about industry trends and monitor competition by collecting current market data.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and facilitate introductions to other team members.
• Submit comprehensive business packages for processing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• 6+ years of professional sales experience with a proven track record of high performance.
• 1-3 years of experience in Dry Ice/CO2 products, B2C accounts, and logistics preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Practical understanding of industrial gas products, production, distribution applications, and related equipment.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles.
• Training in Safety and Compliance (OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA regulations).
• Exceptional communication and writing skills.

Licenses:
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
• Frequent stationary position and movement.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing at least 30 lbs.
• Regular communication and coordination required.

Travel Requirements:
• 40-60% travel to meet with customers and attend corporate meetings.
