Key Responsibilities:
Conduct sales outreach through phone calls, virtual meetings, or video conferencing to drive profitable sales growth and expand market presence.

Build and nurture customer relationships by assessing needs and opportunities within client accounts, negotiating effectively to address challenges and secure customer commitment.

Formulate a strategic business plan to meet sales targets and objectives.
Stay informed about products, services, and relevant market activities that may interest customers.
Collaborate with fellow sales team members to share best practices and promote account development.
Document all account interactions in the CRM system.
Perform additional related tasks as required or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of sales experience, or 5 years of relevant sales experience.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate strong, successful business relationships with clients and internal colleagues.

Proficient computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
Ability to effectively manage time and resources to achieve objectives.
Strong business acumen, with an understanding of the relationships between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemical products.

Excellent listening skills and a proactive problem-solving approach to identify needs and motivations, enabling the resolution of objections to close sales successfully.

Strong negotiation capabilities that allow Univar to capture appropriate value for products and services, avoiding reliance on price-based selling.
