Position Overview:
The Wildman Regional Sales Leader is tasked with guiding a team of Business Development and Customer Engagement Representatives to enhance revenue, introduce new product offerings, boost gross margin, and ensure a superior customer engagement experience for our existing clientele.
This role involves spearheading strategic account management alongside the team to consistently achieve training objectives, activity benchmarks, marketing coordination, and pinpointing specific avenues for revenue enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct a team of Business Development and Customer Engagement Representatives to integrate additional product offerings into client accounts, analyze market trends, and fulfill annual growth targets for designated regions.
- Oversee sales volume, product diversity, and pricing strategies by staying informed on supply and demand dynamics, evolving trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape.
- Ensure accountability for activities, deliver monthly training sessions, and align marketing efforts for our representatives.
- Strategically plan growth initiatives for existing accounts with each representative utilizing our analytical tools and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute sales materials, generate leads, and more.
- Design and implement training programs to elevate performance outcomes for each Business Development and Customer Engagement Representative.
- Conduct bi-weekly field coaching sessions and weekly one-on-one meetings with the Customer Engagement team.
- Facilitate weekly sales training sessions for your sales team.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Customer Engagement to ensure comprehensive support for each representative.
- Assist in the creation of a quarterly training schedule and evaluations that provide consistent, strategic, and focused training on a weekly basis.
- Manage sales pipelines, closing ratios, contacts, and more using our Salesforce CRM platform.
- Meet independently with Sales Representatives to improve closing ratios and overall performance.
- Support the Sales team with appointment scheduling and quote generation as necessary.
- Maintain professional and technical expertise by participating in educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, building professional networks, and engaging in relevant professional organizations.
- Contribute to team success by achieving related results as required. Propose and implement enhancements to boost activity, outcomes, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, leading the sales team through personal example.
- Ability to thrive in a self-directed, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to produce written reports or correspondence and engage with internal and external stakeholders, including executive management.
- Maintain a positive and upbeat demeanor at all times.
- Proficient in mathematical skills including percentages, ratios, and the ability to interpret graphs and charts.
- Exhibit problem-solving abilities through logical reasoning to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various solutions, conclusions, or approaches to challenges.
- Highly skilled in the use of personal computers, including email, routine database management, and MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capable of handling challenging situations calmly and effectively in high-pressure environments.
Education and Experience:
- Preferred two to five years of sales experience.
- Management or leadership experience is advantageous.
Work Environment:
- Office or production environment that is well-lit, climate-controlled, and adequately ventilated.
- Light physical activity associated with primarily administrative tasks.
- Ability to navigate throughout the facility as necessary.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to handle items and perform tasks with fingers.
