Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Executive (RSE) is accountable for driving sales and expanding the dry ice market within their designated region.

Key Responsibilities:
The RSE collaborates with various departments to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of dry ice to our clientele. Responsibilities include:

  • Achieving and surpassing corporate targets for safety and profitable growth within the assigned area.
  • Utilizing software tools to initiate and document outreach to potential business clients.
  • Preparing and submitting precise and timely sales reports.
  • Managing travel expenses effectively while fulfilling training requirements.
  • Adhering to company policies regarding safety, administration, and quality standards.
  • Drafting quotes, bids, and contracts for client approval.
  • Building and nurturing customer relationships through a comprehensive understanding of their business needs.
  • Negotiating new agreements and renewals with clients.
  • Driving business growth by collaborating with commercial teams and product management.
  • Gathering feedback from various organizational groups to manage the sales portfolio.
  • Facilitating communication and support between clients and Matheson.
  • Providing initial product and application support to customers.
  • Assisting with accounts receivable as needed.
  • Promoting additional Matheson offerings during the sales process.
  • Partnering with internal resources to meet growth objectives.
  • Maintaining clear communication with internal departments regarding customer success and opportunity details.
  • Overseeing contract lifecycles, including price reviews and business evaluations.
  • Supporting customer engagement, new business development, contract negotiations, and service requirements.
  • Keeping records of opportunities and sales interactions in CRM systems.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and monitoring competitor activities.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities and coordinating with team members.
  • Submitting comprehensive business packages for contract processing.
  • Performing other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred along with a minimum of 6 years of professional sales experience demonstrating high performance. Experience in dry ice or CO2 products, B2C accounts, and logistics is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. A solid understanding of industrial gas products and associated equipment is essential. Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing practices is beneficial. Strong communication and writing skills are necessary.

Physical Demands:
The role may require frequent travel and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Regular communication and coordination with team members are essential.
