Position Summary

As a Regional Sales Executive, you will be responsible for spearheading sales initiatives to exceed targets within your assigned territory. Your role will involve establishing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, distributors, contractors, and homebuilders, while developing customized sales strategies for significant accounts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, organizational abilities, and industry knowledge. This position is specifically aimed at candidates located in the Indiana/Ohio region and will report to the Central Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance Sika's visibility in the insulation market by promoting premium products and exceptional services.
  • Drive growth in the residential sector through designated distribution channels, aligning with budgetary and gross margin goals.
  • Manage sales operations within the region, optimize distribution networks, and collaborate with the sales team to oversee the entire sales process from specification to closure.
  • Engage with end-users, builders, architects, and installers to generate demand, subsequently assisting distributors in securing related sales.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree preferred, with a strong preference for BA/BS degrees or relevant industry experience.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales or a related field within the building materials industry.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, negotiation, organizational, and active listening skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of energy and a customer-focused entrepreneurial spirit.
Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
