Position Overview

Scismic is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Sales Account Executive to join our team, focusing on the Upper Midwest region. This role is essential in promoting our extensive portfolio of high-quality research chemicals and biochemicals, including innovative life science reagents and reference compounds.

Our expertise lies in the chemicals and biochemicals research market, where we specialize in developing cutting-edge life-science reagents, reference compounds, APIs, and natural compounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture an existing sales territory, ensuring strong relationships with current clients.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and contribute to profit growth through effective sales strategies.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients in the life sciences research and industrial sectors.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding sales forecasts and pipeline status.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and foster long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Chemistry, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Biology, Medical, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach and a strong service mindset.
  • A collaborative team player who is eager to learn and embrace challenges.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
