Job Overview

Position: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the client engagement program
  • Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients while collaborating with stakeholders to secure new business opportunities
  • Act as the firm's representative to clients, industry peers, and business partners
  • Maintain visibility within professional marketing and community networks
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities for the firm
  • Conduct thorough research to gather insights on potential clients and projects
  • Perform market analysis to pinpoint emerging markets, new clientele, and other business prospects
  • Arrange meetings with both new and existing clients to gather project-related information
  • Build and sustain a robust professional network
  • Engage in client-focused organizations
  • Oversee the client satisfaction initiative
  • Operate within both short-term and long-term business development cycles

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-7 years of experience in the AEC sector preferred
  • If no degree, 6-10 years of relevant AEC experience is necessary
  • Comprehensive understanding of AEC industry terminology and practices
  • Professional demeanor suitable for interaction with high-level stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities
  • Motivated, diligent, and takes pride in delivering quality work
  • Persistent and capable of consistently following through on tasks while documenting efforts
  • Experience in tracking progress and achieving set benchmarks
