Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth, enhance market share, and improve margins in alignment with the business strategy, while spearheading business development initiatives that support the company's overarching goals.
  • Oversee the consultative pitching process from inception to completion, including the creation of tailored presentations and proposals.
  • Engage with senior-level stakeholders at key accounts to forge strategic and integrated partnerships.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of company policies and the establishment of long-term goals and objectives.
  • Direct and coordinate departmental activities to achieve delegated goals and objectives, ensuring effective daily operations related to service delivery to the account base and prospective business.
  • Analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecasts to assess departmental or divisional progress towards established goals and objectives.
  • Consult with executives to evaluate achievements and necessary adjustments based on current conditions.
  • Develop business forecasts, financial budgets, and targets aligned with broad corporate goals and growth aspirations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing business operations across all divisional activities.
  • Lead initiatives in talent development, including staffing, training, and performance assessments.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in marketing strategy, maintaining close relationships with major business clients and participating in direct outreach to new and existing customers.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify customer needs, volume potential, and rates, establishing marketing objectives and campaigns to secure market share and profitability.
  • Represent the company at industry events to promote products and services.
  • Possess extensive experience in product/service development and a solid background in logistics.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of warehouse operating systems to enhance efficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Lead special projects and committees as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
