As a Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, you will be instrumental in propelling the Division's growth and profitability by crafting and implementing strategies that foster collaborations with clients across various sectors. Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Direct business development initiatives to identify, assess, and establish long-term contractual agreements with clients while nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategize and negotiate intricate, multi-year logistics and warehousing contracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales operations, marketing, solution engineering, and operations, to ensure that partnerships align with the overall strategic objectives of GXO Americas & APAC.
  • Spot new market opportunities and devise strategies to forge new relationships that generate revenue or support revenue generation for other sales personnel within the organization.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor movements, utilizing insights to refine business development strategies.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, engaging with stakeholders to enhance the company's brand and reputation.
  • Develop, oversee, and provide regular updates on the status and performance of GXO partnerships and their contributions to the organization.

Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional or military experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within contract logistics or distribution.
  • Proven executive-level sales leadership experience.
  • A track record of success in selling third-party logistics (3PL) services.
  • The ability to manage a sales pipeline and multiple business development proposals effectively.

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • An MBA.
  • The willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with partners and attend industry trade shows.
  • A background and network in the Consumer/Supply Chain sector, along with a proven history of successfully negotiating and managing client partnerships.
  • Strong time and project management capabilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clear, organized, and thorough information tailored to the intended audience.
