Corporate Relations Manager

The Corporate Partnerships Manager plays a crucial role in advancing the mission of the National Council on Aging (NCOA) by fostering and expanding corporate relationships that support our initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of older adults.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the Business Development Team to devise innovative strategies that strengthen existing corporate partnerships and cultivate new ones.
2. Engage with program staff to identify potential corporate partners and guide them through the fundraising process.
3. Manage accounts, prospect new leads, and introduce potential partners to NCOA's impactful work.
4. Utilize sales resources, including sales intelligence and professional networks, to identify and qualify prospects.
5. Maintain and update Salesforce with all opportunities on a weekly basis.
6. Work closely with the Director of Business Development to explore various segments of the corporate community as potential funding partners.
7. Initiate programs such as cause-related marketing, event sponsorship, and promotional campaigns to increase corporate funding.
8. Partner with Marketing and Communications to enhance visibility and drive revenue generation.
9. Provide regular updates and progress reports to leadership, making recommendations based on campaign outcomes.
10. Manage key partnerships for BenefitsCheckUp and conduct training sessions for partners.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in business development, corporate fundraising, or marketing.
- Proven experience in developing budgets and measuring fundraising results.
- Strong relationship-building skills across various organizational levels and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present compelling proposals to corporate partners.
