Position Overview:
The Corporate Security Incident Response Analyst plays a crucial role in the assessment and preliminary investigation of reported security events pertinent to Corporate Security. The scope of cases encompasses both conventional inquiries such as allegations of internal theft, breaches of policy, and fraud, as well as threats, concerning behaviors, and incidents of workplace violence, including suicidal ideation and domestic abuse.

Operational Role:
Embedded within the Corporate Security's 24/7 Operations Center, the Analyst will provide support to a diverse range of stakeholders globally. The complexity of investigations may vary and could involve conducting impact evaluations, logging cases into the case management system, and offering direct support to victims as required.

Collaboration and Support:
This role will also extend direct assistance to Global Security Operations Center personnel for urgent and emerging incidents, representing the interests of Corporate Security and workplace violence prevention teams. Utilizing technology, analytical skills, interviewing techniques, and assessment methodologies, the Analyst will work to safeguard personnel, information, and assets. The Corporate Security team collaborates closely, sharing expertise and resources with local security teams worldwide, and is expected to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and shared risk management. This position serves as a vital link between the Corporate Security team and regional/local teams dedicated to maintaining a secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inquiries related to threats from external sources and internal incidents such as theft of client assets, vandalism, and workplace violence.
  • Maintain a presence in the Corporate Security's 24/7 Operations Center, providing support for incidents occurring outside regular hours.
  • Perform impact assessments based on available information and engage key stakeholders as necessary.
  • Analyze surveillance footage, access control data, and other information sources to identify behaviors, root causes, locations, potential evidence, and individuals involved.
  • Collect, document, and preserve video, images, documents, and other materials related to investigations, ensuring they are maintained throughout the workflow and adjudication process.
  • Organize, prioritize, and investigate multiple incidents concurrently, managing a growing caseload with overlapping deadlines.
  • Conduct interviews with victims, witnesses, and persons of interest using established interviewing techniques tailored to corporate investigations.
  • Utilize a structured investigative workflow and case management system to track and resolve investigations, analyzing trends to identify causes, mitigate losses, and implement preventive measures.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to connect with individuals during both high-stress and routine situations.
  • Engage in training and mentoring opportunities, sharing knowledge with colleagues and providing training in areas of expertise.
  • Effectively manage investigations using both automated and manual tools, including various software applications.
  • Successfully pass a background investigation.
  • Compile and present case management metrics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in Corporate Security, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Incident Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with professional investigative standards and workplace violence prevention guidelines.
  • Experience in conducting complex corporate investigations.
  • Developed investigative and analytical skills relevant to a corporate environment, including video review and understanding of evidence handling.
  • Willingness to learn new methodologies and approaches.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Certification as a Threat Manager (desired) and experience with workplace violence investigations.
  • Experience with various software tools and databases.
