About Modivcare: We are on the lookout for a Corporate Financial Accountant to become an integral part of our Finance and Accounting Team. This position will report directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager.

Role Overview: This is a foundational role that encompasses the complete cycle of corporate accounting. You will collaborate with our segment accounting colleagues, financial reporting team, and various business partners to ensure that our financial statements adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and comply with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.

Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the month-end and quarter-end closing processes by completing recurring tasks, journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger.
- Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and conduct variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial statements within stipulated reporting timelines.
- Provide accounting assistance to team members based in different locations.
- Gather documentation for intercompany balances, indirect expenditures, and other transactions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing accounting and reporting processes.
- Support financial reporting requirements, including compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
- Aid in both internal and external audits related to Financial and SOX reporting.
- Contribute to the implementation of new projects and procedures.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to suggest process improvements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset that promotes teamwork and participation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $62,150 - $80,650
