Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage daily schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage of the designated territory.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the market dynamics within assigned territories and accounts.
  • Achieve or surpass established activity benchmarks for prospecting, appointments, presentations, proposals, and order closures.
  • Contribute to the formulation of annual business strategies and sales plans aimed at achieving corporate sales objectives and profitability.
  • Initiate and coordinate strategies to explore new market opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding performance metrics and activities.
  • Ensure the fulfillment of customer commitments to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of customer-related issues and collaborate with relevant departments for resolution.
  • Engage with clients and engineers during pre-sales activities, including site visits and opportunity evaluations.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with machine tool vendors and other third-party suppliers.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and ethical standards, ensuring compliance within the team.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about industry advancements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive technical understanding of the product lines offered by the company.
  • Educate potential clients on the advantages of our offerings.
  • Utilize CRM systems for sales activity management, forecasting, and lead tracking.

  • Perform related tasks as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in capital sales or B2B sales with a proven track record.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to solve business challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Quick decision-making abilities in assessing situations.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Conflict resolution skills are essential.
