Key Responsibilities

The Construction Safety Consultant plays a vital role in promoting safety standards and practices within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to, fostering a culture of safety across various projects.

  • Manage and supervise all elements of intricate electrical structures and construction initiatives to guarantee compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to review contractor safety strategies and ensure their effective execution on all assignments.
  • Evaluate and oversee construction Health & Safety management protocols.
  • Participate in safety department meetings, training sessions, and daily project briefings.
  • Supervise subcontractors and contractors to ensure their qualifications and competencies.
  • Actively promote Health & Safety initiatives that encourage positive safety behaviors across all projects.
Qualifications
  • Required:
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction safety, with formal qualifications in health and safety management.
    • Proven experience in contractor engagement, working closely with design teams and other project stakeholders.
    • Significant experience in data center or mission-critical construction projects.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Strong computer proficiency.
    • Demonstrate HazTek's Core Values: Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, and Accountability.
    Preferred:
    • A Bachelor's degree in a safety-related discipline.
    • Experience as an Owner's Representative.
    • Knowledge of NFPA 70e standards.
  • Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications, ranging from $100,000 to $150,000.
